Early Morning MVA

On September 26, 2011 at 05:57, Mifflin County 911 dispatched Company 25 and EMS Company 23 for a motor vehicle accident on SR 655 near the County Line Market for a pick-up truck versus a horse.  Once on scene crews determined that there were no injuries to the driver of the pick-up truck, with a patient refusal.  The crews put down hi-dry and cleared the roadway.  Chief 25-1 then placed the box in service.

Barn Fire

On Friday, July 22 at 10:26 Box 25-20 was struck for a barn fire.  Chief 25-1 went responding and was advised by County that they had received multiple calls for a working barn fire behind County Line Welding.  Chief 25-1 upgraded to a second alarm and also requested Rehab 12.  Later into the incident additional manpower was requested, which brought Huntington Truck 7.  Truck 7 set up master stream operations.  The fire took approximately two hours to extinguish, with extensive overhaul completed afterwards.

Companies from Center and Juniata Counties transferred to cover the area during the fire.

2011 Festival

The Allensville Firemen’s was held July 14, 15, and 16.  The 2012 festival will be held on July 19, 20, and 21.
